Guide to logging your find

Once you've found a cache you want to tell the whole world. If you found your cache using Geocaching.com's web site it's easy! Here's how you do it.

Steps

• Visit geocaching.com and create an account with them using this online web form
• log in using your newly created username and password
• Visit the geocache detail page for the geocache you found
• In the top-right corner of the page, click 'log your visit'
• From the 'Type of log' drop-down menu, select 'Found it'
• Enter the date of your geocache find
• Enter any comments you wish to share with the owner and/or community regarding your find
• Click 'Submit log entry'
